  1. Why is this card different?
With an overall average savings of 64.9%, we stand out from the crowd in providing discount benefits to our members. Click here for a list of reasons why we differ from many other prescription discount card programs.

  2. If I have insurance, will this card provide any extra benefit?
YES – If your insurance does not cover certain drugs (ex – cosmetic drugs, brand names, prenatal vitamins, etc) then this card may save you money!  Also, if your insurance requires you to pay a deductible on your brand name drugs before covering them, then this card may be of benefit to you!

  3. I have insurance. Can your card save me money on my final bill after my insurance pays their portion?
The prescription discount card cannot be used in combination with insurance and co-payments. We recommend you ask your pharmacy which method (insurance vs discount card) will save you the most money on a particular prescription. This could vary by drug depending on your insurance carrier and if the drug is a brand or generic that you are purchasing.

Not all drugs are going to be covered by your insurance plan, so this will save you money on those purchases. Plus, there are a large number of drugs that are under $7 when using the card. So, you’ll need to check with each prescription which gets you the better discount.

If you have a deductible on your insurance, you need to send in copies of your receipts to your insurance provider to get credit applied to your deductible.

  4. Does this card provide discount on prescription drugs and over-the counter drugs?
This card only provides discounts for prescription drugs prescribed to you by a doctor. It does not cover over-the-counter drugs and medications like Zyrtec, Claritin, Tylenol, etc.

  5. Does this card cost me anything?
NO – The Pharmacy Savings Card alone does not cost you anything. If you choose to add any of the additional features and benefits available from Health & Lifestyle Perx to your pharmacy card benefit, then you will be charged appropriately on a monthly basis (please see chart for pricing). You have no obligation to add any additional benefits and if you choose to do so, you register on a month to month basis – there is no contract.

  6. What is the average savings on medications with this card?
The discount range varies depending on whether you are purchasing brand name or generic drugs and which brand name and generic medications you are buying. Your savings are similar to that of many prescription drug plans. The average savings range between 10-75% off retail prices.

  7. How does this card work with Medicare Part D
