How It Works

First, the obvious question - Are prescription discount cards too good to be true? The quick answer is no and they really do work. However, to fully appreciate your free drug card you should know how it works. We can't speak for all discount cards in the market, so we'll do our best to explain how our program operates and how it's different than other drug cards.

Because we process millions of prescriptions per month for pharmacies nationwide, we know what the actual cost of prescription drugs are and the typical profits for pharmacies. We use this information to provide our cash customers with great discounts while still maintaining a reasonable profit for the pharmacies. The pharmacy will typically make about the same amount on your transaction with our discount drug card that they do processing someone's prescription insurance coverage.

How do we make money? Great question... We receive a very small processing fee from each transaction at the pharmacy. This allows us to cover the cost of our data centers, support staff, and marketing programs. Here's the catch though, and it's one of the things that sets us apart from many competitors. This is the only way we make money! We will not sell or rent your personal information to anyone. We respect your privacy as if it were our own.

How Do I Use It?

You can use your free drug card just as you would use an insurance card. Hand the card to the pharmacist when you drop off your prescription and see what kind of discount you get. Brand name drugs will have a typical 10-20% discount with greater savings coming on generics where you can save up to 75%. We've seen some discounts higher than that, but they are not the norm. Use our Drug Price/Pharmacy Finder tool to see what your price would be on your prescriptions.

Why Get A Free Drug Card?

If you already have a pharmacy benefit, your insurance card typically does not cover many drugs. Drugs often excluded are anorexiants, appetite suppressants, antacids, anti-obesity, contraceptive devices and implants, cosmetic drugs for hair growth or wrinkles, diagnostic supplies and devices, hypnotics and sedatives, immunizations and vaccines, drugs for impotence, fertility, injectable supplies, medical supplies, nutritional supplies, smoking cessation prescriptions, prenatal vitamins, and many more. OUR CARD PROVIDES DISCOUNTS FOR ALL OF THESE!

So, whether you have insurance coverage or not - everyone should have a discount drug card. You never know when your prescription plan won't cover your medication, or when it could even be cheaper than your insurance co-pay.

What Makes Our Drug Card Different?

1) Personal Privacy
We consider consumers personal information to be private and it will never be sold or shared to insurance companies or other service providers. Keep in mind that it is legal for others to do this, we just don’t think it’s ethical. Enjoy the savings and don’t pay a price for it later!

2) Tools To Save Your Customers More
Be sure to try out our Drug Price/Pharmacy Finder Tool! This handy application will present you with options for generic drugs as well as therapeutic alternatives that are in the same class. This alone can save you hundreds of dollars on a prescription. Found a potential cost saving alternative? Contact your doctor to see if it will meet your needs.

3) Supports Local Pharmacies
Pharmacists love us because we don’t try to convert customer to high profit mail order that steals customers away from the local economy. We are backed by a national group of independent pharmacists who heartily support our program.
